52 Great Reads!
In 2018, Lorna Milne’s biography of Evelyn Cameron was selected by the Montana Center for the Book as our state’s entry in 52 Great Reads and was featured at the National Book Festival that year.
What is 52 Great Reads? Every year, a list of books representing the literary heritage of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands is distributed by the Library of Congress's Center for the Book during the National Book Festival.
Each book is selected by a Center for the Book state affiliate or state library and most are for children and young adult readers.
Books may be written by authors from the state, take place in the state, or celebrate the state’s culture and heritage.
It was such a wonderful honor and a great privilege to be in DC for this event.
